LANified! - View Event

Please insert coin to continue, LANified! is coming back with it's second event, opening Friday June 8th. Once again bringing you great entertainment and services such as:

- Tournaments
- Prizes
- Silly games
- Fully managed network
- Professional-grade power
- Snack / Food sales
- Dedicated game servers
- Dedicated utility services (Teamspeak / Music Streams)
- Game patches/files available on our local intranet website

What to bring:
- Yourself!
- Your PC
- Power bar (Must have a ground)
- 10-15 foot Network cable (We will be selling these at the location)
- Food or money for food (We will be selling snacks/food on-site)
- Headphones (no speakers)
- Games (dont forget to bring cd-keys as well as original disks)
- Sleeping supplies (pillows, blankets/sleeping bags, toothbrush, DEODERANT, etc)
- Picture ID (required for at the event sign-up), school ID is valid

What not to bring:
- Alcohol
- Drugs
- Bad Attitude

Rules and Restrictions:
All participants will be allocated one "unit" of space, which is 1.5m width of table space extending to the front & back of the table. While there's room for leeway, you will be asked to organize your space if seating is tight.

No alcohol on site, we will not be drinking, and neither will you. There is no liquor license, so liquor is not allowed on the premises.

Smoking is only allowed in the parking lot. You cannot smoke indoors, outside the entrance, or on the grass or walkway up to the entrance.

People are allowed to come and go as they see fit. However, property cannot leave the hall between the hours of midnight (0000hrs) and 8 am (0800hrs). Your property (more specifically whatever bags/equipment/supplies you bring) will be barred exit during these hours.

Headphones are required, considering this please be respectful of others regarding sound. You must also be cautious of noise outdoors after 10pm. If you are rowdy you will be asked to leave at our discretion.

Do not modify or mess with any LANified! equipment whatsoever. If you are curious about our equipment and layout, or anything, feel free to ask us about it.

Prizes for the tournaments have yet to be finalized. More information will be available at a later date. Keep up to date by visiting this site, and viewing the event details (this page) or the forums.

Services:
We will be providing various services across the network. The services we are currently going to provide are:
-Teamspeak server
-Shoutcast server (we are aiming to use this as a PA system, as well as various other services)
-Intranet website, providing further services such as server listing, attendee location, and many others
-Internet access
