Version:
-The version played will be the latest as available via Steam at the time of the event. We will provide the base install files on the network, so PLEASE either come up to date, or download the base install files from us at the LAN.

Maps:
-The map played will be agreed upon between the two teams competing from the following list:
  • de_aztec.bsp
  • de_cbble.bsp
  • de_chateau.bsp
  • de_dust.bsp
  • de_dust2.bsp
  • de_inferno.bsp
  • de_nuke.bsp
  • de_piranesi.bsp
  • de_port.bsp
  • de_prodigy.bsp
  • de_tides.bsp
  • de_train.bsp
-Only DE maps are allowed, as CS has competetive issues (those hostages are an unfair liability).

Teams:
-Teams will consist of up to 5 players, teams of less than 5 people will be allowed, but are fair game for ridicule and slaughter.
-Teams will be organized by one captain. The map played will be finalized between the captains of each team.
-No players can play on more than one team per tournament.
-Racist or Derogatory team names will not be allowed, anyone using such names will be forced to rename their team.
-A basic level of respect between teams is required. We realize that respect is earnt, but the basic level of respect is required to participate in our tournaments.
-Each team is responsible for keeping track of their score from Game to Game. Screenshots are required to end disputes. If neither team provides accurate screenshots of the scores at the end of a disputed Game the result will be decided at the discretion of LANified! Staff. Be prepared to possibly play further rounds if a dispute is not resolved by screenshots.

Definitions:
-Victors: A team will be declared the Match Victors based on points. The points will be added up from all the Games in that Match. Note that if any team reaches 7 points in a Game, that Game is over and another one will start, there are no further chances to earn points for either team in that Game. If a tie occurs an Overtime Match will occur.
-Overtime Match: A Match which occurs as a tie-breaker. A unique server config file will be used for this Match. It will consist of one Game, however with only 7 Rounds. The teams will switch sides based on the last Game. If a team reaches 4 points at any time during an Overtime Match they are declared the Victors.
-Match: A Match is a completed series of competition between all combattants in order to progress to the next Match between other combattants and the Victors. In this case A Match will consist of 2 (two) Games. The teams will switch sides from one Game to the next, until A Match is over.
-Game: In this case A Game will consist of 13 Rounds. If however, a team reaches 7 wins at any time the Game will conclude with that team winning that Game.
-Round: A single unit of gameplay with a 2 minute timelimit.
-Starting Side: The side (Counter-Terrorist or Terrorist) in which each team will initially play as for that Match. A Coin toss, or other random method agreed upon between both teams will determine which team picks which side they want to be for their Starting Side. Teams will switch sides from one Game to the next. The Starting Sides will be determined at the beginning of each Match.

Disconnections, Crashes, BSOD's:
-If a player unintentinoally disconnects during a Round within the first 5 minutes of a Match that Round will be nulled and the Match will be restarted, including server Reset.
-If a player unintentionally disconnects during a Round after the first 5 minutes of a Match, it is at the discretion of the opposing team as to whether a Reset will occur or not. Feel free to be good sports. If the opposing team does not call for a Reset, the Match will continue with that player down, but that player cannot spectate.
-If a player ram dumps (Blue Screen Of Death) or the game crashes on them within the first 5 minutes of a Match that Round will be nulled and the Match will be restarted, including server Reset.
-If a player ram dumps (Blue Screen Of Death) or the game crashes on them after the first 5 minutes of a Match, that player will rejoin the match, and rejoin their team mates next Round. This player is not allowed to spectate and will be observed by staff until they are back with their allies.
-If all players Crash or Disconnect for whatever reason, a Match reset will automatically occur.
-If a player unintentionally disconnects more than once that player will be forced to sit out that Match and LANified! Staff will help investigate the cause.
-If a player ram dumps (BSOD) or the game crashes on them more than once that player will be forced to forefit the tournament and the team will have to play one man short for the rest of the tournament.

Disallowed Activity:
If you are caught disobeying these you will be asked to comply with the rules. If you fail to comply with the rules you will be disqualified.
-Custom player models and/or custom map texture packs are disallowed
-Your registration information for the event must be valid

Disqualifications:
You will be Disqualified from the tournament if the following happens:
-You are caught cheating, and/or modifying the game to a degree in which warrants you an unfair advantage
-You are caught intoxicated, or influenced by a performance enhancing drug that you do not have a legal prescription for (Proof of prescription will be required)
-You are caught playing for more than one team in this tournament

Starting Times:
-Each team must be ready by the time the next Match is scheduled to begin. A team will have an allownace of up to 10 minutes. If a team exceeds this they will count a loss against their team. If this occurs in circusmtances similar to Double Elimination or other modes where a single loss is not a disqualification then they will continue in the tournament with that loss as their burden.
-Breaks between Matches will be determined by the Match schedule.

Server Configuration:
-Here is the server config for main Matches.
-Here is the overtime config for main Matches.

If you have anything you want to ask, say, or whatever about these rules feel free to post below with a response. I am open to reason, and if I see that there is a problem, or perhaps a better way of doing something, I will gladly work with you to employ it.

Server for Tourney's is Configured and ready.

We will have this server up and running the entire lan and will be open to all Participants, with the exception of when the tourney's are on and only registered teams will be allowed to join with a password provided to them.
