Version:
-The version played will be the latest version at the time of the tournament. At the time of this writing the latest version is 6.41, it might update by the time of the tournament.

-The mode used will only be -lm.

Teams:
-Teams will consist of up to 5 players, teams of less than 5 people will be allowed, but are fair game for ridicule and slaughter.
-Teams will be organized by one captain. The map played will be finalized between the captains of each team.
-No players can play on more than one team per tournament.
-Racist or Derogatory team names will not be allowed, anyone using such names will be forced to rename their team.
-A basic level of respect between teams is required. We realize that respect is earned, but the basic level of respect is required to participate in our tournaments.

Definitions:
-Match: A Match is a completed series of competition between all combattants in order to progress to the next Match between other combattants and the victors. In this case A Match will consist of one unit of gameplay with no timelimit. Be forewarned, DoTA Matches can get to upwards of 2 hours in length. Go to the washroom, get drinks, prepare yourself before a serious Match.
-Starting Side: The side (Sentinel or Scourge) in which each team will initially play as. A Coin toss, or other random method agreed upon between both teams will determine which team picks which side they want to be for their Starting Side. This will occur every Match, no automatic alternations will occur.
-Host: The Host is defined as the team that wins the coin toss (or random generator). The Host team will host the game for the competitors to join. The person who is in the First (1st) player's slot must initialize the game mode properly at the beginning of the Match.
-Pooling: Pooling is defined as the purchasing of items by multiple players for the sole use of a single hero. This technique buffs a single hero far beyond what that hero could attain by themselves in the same ammount of time.

Disconnections, Crashes, BSOD's:
-If a player unintentinoally disconnects during a Round within the first 5 minutes of a Match that Match will be nulled and the Match will be restarted.
-If a player unintentionally disconnects during a Round after the first 5 minutes of a Match, it is at the discretion of the opposing team as to whether a Match restart will occur or not. Feel free to be good sports. If the opposing team does not call for a Match restart, the Match will continue with that player down. That player cannot spectate the opposing team.
-If a player ram dumps (Blue Screen Of Death) or the game crashes on them within the first 5 minutes of a Match that Match will be nulled and the Match will be restarted.

-If a player disconnects or crashes for whatever reason, and a Match restart is not called, that hero's items must be sold and the cash evenly distributed between the remaining players. The disconnected hero is free to be used in any regard. Items can be bought for them, and used on them by any remaining team mate.

This Tourney will be held on a Lan game, the details will be released at the time of the tourney.

I have opted to go away from a PVPGN tourney system for the event due to the somewhat length changes to client machines. In the future we will reconsider this option of using PVPGN once we can streamline the connecting of clients to the Lan server.

PVPGN details can be found @ www.pvpgn.org/
