It's a pretty close race for popularity between HoN and LoL for sure, HoN is in the lead right now though ;D
Anyways, the tournaments are not going to change at this time, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy some LoL action. The game preference list is less about the tournaments and more about casual gaming. While tournaments are very important to our events, so is casual gaming. The gaming preference list helps you (and others) find people who want to play various games.
In the end, we can only run so many tournaments, and at this time it is not going to happen, sorry.
