Today we announce the first flash game challenge!
This flash game challenge features the game "Red". All you have to do is have the highest score submitted by midnight Friday March 18th (first day of the LAN) and be present at the LAN, then you win a prize!
To submit high scores, just take a screenshot of your game with the score (please crop your pictures) and post them as a response to the game thread.

Also, the first 50 people that prepay will be entered into an exclusive raffle!

LANified! can't operate without staff. Since we're growing, we need more help. Here is the kind of help we're looking for:

Security:
We gotta keep people safe, and their stuff safe too. Not much to it, keep the peace, keep the gaming going. No headphones. For those working over-night your job expands into keeping the party pumping, engaging those who are awake, and stuff like that.

Check-in:
With how many people we are going to handle we need help checking them in in a timely fashion. Make sure people fill out the waiver, only grant access to those authorized, straight-forward.

Setup AND teardown:
With how much equipment we deal with, we need help setting it up and tearing it down. Generally all staff help with setup and teardown.

General event-support:
All sorts of things happen at the LAN, even small questions, or fixing computers.


We're looking for people prepared to perform several of these tasks per LAN, being staff isn't just one of these. Also, we're looking for long-term staff who will help with multiple events per year. All of our staff positions are volunteer only, we cannot pay you. However we can provide you valuable experience that you can put on your resume, and exceptional staff sometimes get references. We deal with many interesting things, and we want to do great things in this world. LANified! 25: Colossal will be our largest, longest running event ever. It will be a 300 person BYOC LAN, running Friday March 18th 2016 to Sunday March 20th 2016 NON-STOP.

This event features the finest tournaments available. Tournaments will be held for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, DotA 2, Rocket League, Hearthstone and Starcraft 2. 1st place winners of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or DotA 2 tournaments will be additionally declared "Best in Alberta" and presented custom awards. These 5 tournaments have a cash prize pool of $4050.

This event will additionally feature lots of mini-tournaments, organic gaming, blazing fast fully-gigabit networking, professional-grade power infrastructure, and so much more!

We're revising a few details for the Bootcamp Program, as well as clarifying what exactly it is (sorry about that). Also, "Best in Calgary" plaque presentation pics for team "KQLYFornia" for LANified! 22 below!

Bootcamp Program Revision Phase 1.1:
- Schedule changing from Sat+Wed 8pm -> Sat+Tue 8pm (effective immediately)
- Reeling back on the established team stuff for now


What is the LANified! Bootcamp Program?
It is meant to serve three primary functions:

• Help players form/find teams (temporarily or long-term)
• Help players/teams practice, in a fashion similar to our tournaments, with nothing on the line, on local high-quality servers
• Help players share/receive info on how to get better

• Connect to our public mumble server (voice.lanified.com default port)
• Jump in the "Teaam Forming" Channel that is in the "Counter-Strike" channel
• Tell a Bootcamp Administrator you want to participate, they will then determine where to place you
