During our validation of this design there were some games that we recommend against, however many games performed very impressively. All games were tested at 1080p resolution and we recommend you do not go higher than 1080p with this system. Additionally note that the controllers we tested can wake the system from sleep, however none can turn it on when completely off.

Games we recommend against:

  • Cities Skylines 1/2
  • Counter-Strike 2
  • Hunt Showdown
  • Path of Exile 2

Games we found played well:

  • DOOM (2016): 100-120 FPS
  • Portal 2: 250-300 FPS
  • Path of Exile 1: 60 FPS
  • Valheim: 60-70 FPS
  • Katamari Damacy Reroll: 240 FPS
  • Vampire Survivors: 240 FPS
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order: 60 FPS (game locked)
  • Payday 2: 120-135 FPS

We also validated this system with the following controllers, including waking the system from sleep:

  • Playstation 4 DualShock 4 Wireless (via Bluetooth) -> Gyro worked out of the box for this controller in DOOM (2016)
  • USB Wired generic controller who's name we don't remember (cheap knock-off one)
  • Xbox 360 Wireless via PC Dongle

Generally we expect any Bluetooth controller or fighting stick to work with this system once you have paired it. This includes modern Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch controllers, but we have not tested Xbox controllers newer than 360 and have not tested Nintendo Switch controllers with it (they run Bluetooth). We also generally expect any wired controller to work, including fighting sticks.
