LANified! at Smash Logic's Salt Flats 2020

LANified! is partnering up again with Smash Logic to help make Salt Flats 2020 seriously awesome! We will be providing critical power, network and internet infrastructure to the event (namely, all of it), plus we will be doing a bunch of Modern and Retro PC Gaming tournaments and free play. Further details below!

Critical Infrastructure

It may be boring, but it's important, it's actually critical. LANified! will be providing extensive power distribution throughout the whole event, ensuring that everything continues to run perfectly. In addition to that, we will be operating the computer network & internet that runs in parallel to the power infrastructure, ensuring that games that need to get online, or have LAN play, can. This is the third event we will be helping Smash Logic with, and we want to ensure Salt Flats 2020 doesn't skip a beat... it's CRITICAL!

Free Play (Retro)

We will be setting up four Free Play gaming stations at Salt Flats 2020. They will have a whole bunch of Retro PC games pre-installed and ready to go, plus they will be networked together so you can experience that juicy LAN action! These Free Play stations are available to those attending Salt Flats 2020. Here are some games we are planning to include (there might be more than this):

  1. StarCraft: Brood War (inlcuding some UMS maps)
  2. Age of Empires 2
  3. Quake 3
  4. Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne (inlcuding some UMS maps)
  5. Duke Nukem 3D
  6. DOOM 2
  7. Hexen
  8. Armagetron

The Tournaments

Once again we will be bringing our LANified! Tournament Rigs to Salt Flats 2020, for our Computer Gaming Tournaments. This includes Monitor, Computer Case (and internals), Keyboard, Mouse, & Headset (includes microphone). Generally, the only thing missing is YOU! We will be running tournaments for the following games:

  1. StarCraft: Brood War - 1v1
  2. Rocket League - 3v3
  3. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - 3v3 Demolition Mode
  4. Quake 3 - 3v3 TDM

Information about the rules and formats for each of these will be outlined lower on this page. We recommend that you register in advance for each of these tournaments, simply GO HERE and register for the tournaments. If you are unable to register in advance, we will be taking tournament registration at the Salt Flats 2020 event. But again, we recommend you register in advance.
