Event Registration & Ticket Details
Registration for our coming 3x Gaming Events is now open and working!
After you register you will then need to buy tickets to the areas you want to participate in each event.
There are also additional details below regarding the current state of Tickets, Ticket Self-Management, a Help/Feedback Form (if you're stuck or want to give us feedback), Tournaments, and other stuff.
Oh and if you like what we're doing, please help spread the word and tell others! Thanks!
Tickets - Status
There are some important details you need to know about Tickets and how they currently (and will) behave, as well as what's going on with them right now.
- First, we have validated our Store functionality works reliably, including validating secure Credit Card and PayPal functionality. We are using industry-leading security in these regards. We also know parts of our store look kind of jank, this will be improved over time, sorry!
- Second, each event page has a tabbed section "Buy Tickets" on it. This should only show tickets for the event's page you're currently looking at.
- Third, when you buy a ticket, right now this will not (currently) automatically cause the ticket to show up in the Ticket Self-Management section (under "Your Tickets" on each event page). At this time I (BloodyIron) will be manually handling this for each ticket bought, until we have this aspect automated (which might be a few days away).
- Fourth, once tickets show up in the Ticket Self-Management section (now and in the future) they are NOT immediately applied. This makes it so you can buy multiple tickets (even of different kinds) and apply some of them to other gamers (who have already registered for said event). Eg. if you buy a 5-pack of a certain ticket, you can apply 1x to yourself, and 4x to your team members.
- Fifth, once a ticket is applied to your registration (by yourself, or a fellow gamer), it then unlocks your ability to register for any Tournaments that ticket would have granted access to (assuming said Tournaments are in a state open to registrations).
- Sixth, once a ticket is applied to anyone, it becomes permanently non-transferrable. We do not permit the resale of any of our tickets under any circumstances, and currently we probably will take action if we find people reselling our tickets.
- Seventh, the tickets for each event are going to start showing up on their event pages probably today. You can still register for the events if the tickets have not shown up yet.
Feedback & Help
We have updated the Feedback & Help page to be actually useful. This page is linked on our main (root) page, but you can also CLICK HERE to go to it.
Tournaments & Prizing Status
- First, all Tournaments have been added to LANified! 35, 36, & 37 event pages.
- Second, all Tournament Rules & Formats for these three events are currently placeholders, but the placeholders roughly represent what they will look like (eg, 5v5, 3v3, 1v1, FFA, FFA-2, FFA-4, etc). The Rules and Formats will be updated over the coming days for all three events. We welcome feedback to our Rules and Formats.
- Third, Tournament Prizing for these three events is currently pending, but will be posted probably today. Take note that the prizing can bump-up based on participation numbers in each specific Tournament.
- Fourth, we are still working to fix the "Show me!" function for each Tournament. This function will show who is registered in each Tournament, and how (Teams, Clan Rosters, more). The current "breaking" did not show up in exhaustive earlier testing.
- Fifth, Schedules for the Tournaments for these three Events will also be posted soon (this is required to enable Tournament Registration functionality).
- Sixth, Tournament Registration can be done BEFORE an Event has started, and DURING an event (but must always be BEFORE said Tournament has started). Any Gamer that wants to Register for (a) Tournament(s) will need an appropriate Ticket applied to them that would unlock said Tournament(s).
- Seventh, you can only invite Gamers to a Tournament Team or Clan Roster if they are Registered for that Tournament, AND are not already on a Team or Clan Roster for that Tournament.
